BRECONSHIRE BEEF CALF COMPETITION

New for 2026

1. Will be judged prior Show Day on Holding of Birth
2. All calves entered must be born and reared on Holding of Birth (passports should be made available to the judge)
3. Under 12 months of age on Brecon Show Day
4. Competition is for Steers and Heifers - No Bulls
5. Pure or Crossbred of any breed
6. Calves must be Halter broken but not necessary to be led
7. To be tied up for Judging

CLASSES
1. Class for Steers
2. Class for Heifers

Overall Champion Calf

Special Award:
Mervyn Jones Bradwys Memorial Award will be given to an exhibitor under the age of 30 years on Show Day for the best presented calf.
